The Black Business Market LLC provides an elevated shopping experience centered on celebrating and supporting Black owned businesses. We create intentional platforms where Black entrepreneurs across industries can showcase their products, services, and brands while building meaningful connections with the community.
Our mission is to uplift, promote, and invest in Black business owners locally and throughout the surrounding areas. We believe visibility matters and access creates opportunity. This platform exists to ensure Black entrepreneurs receive the exposure, support, and recognition they deserve.
Founded in the summer of 2020, The Black Business Market hosted its first event in Warren, Ohio, bringing together more than 50 business owners. Since then, the market has continued to grow, with our largest event to date hosting over 70 business owners and drawing strong community engagement.
More than a market, The Black Business Market is a space where culture, commerce, and community meet creating experiences that support economic growth and collective impact.
Why we started?
There has never been a better time to be a small business owner. Minority owned businesses continue to grow and shape our communities, and we believe that growth deserves real support.
We started this work to uplift and connect business owners in our community and surrounding areas by creating intentional spaces for visibility, collaboration, and opportunity. Our focus is on supporting early stage entrepreneurs and growing brands through meaningful experiences, not just another place to set up a table.
We do not just host events. We create experiences that help business owners build confidence, make connections, and grow with purpose.
